Call for Jury Members
The Board of the JESSIE RICHARDSON THEATRE AWARDS is excited to announce that we are preparing for a 2024-2025 Awards Season! We are looking for volunteers to join one of our four juries from September 2024 - September 2025. We are seeking a minimum of eight jury members each for Large Budget Theatre, Medium Budget Theatre, Small Budget Theatre, and Theatre for Young Audiences. As well we are seeking 5 members for the Script Reading jury.

A Statement from the Acting President
"The Jessies are back! We have heard from so many of you that having annual awards for excellence in Vancouver’s professional theatre scene is something our community wants and has been missing. We also know that there are structures of inequality the Jessies have contributed to upholding in its past that needed addressing for it to have a robust, inclusive future. In the time since announcing our hiatus, your Jessies Board has done a lot of dreaming, researching, and consulting to try and re-shape aspects of the awards that need changing."​
